When talking to American youth about which media device they couldn’t live without we inevitably get the same answer – my cell phone. But what's in a mobile phone? It’s more than just talk. It’s also more than just text. It’s life management, it’s hot spotting, it’s a daily triage tool.
Of course many of the 20somethings we talk to do have smartphones (which they are mildly addicted to). But not all of them are toting around an iPhone, Crackberry, or Sidekick. It’s fascinating to see the many ingenious ways kids are using your average everyday moto razor. They check email, watch videos, send pictures, organize their social & professional lives (contacts, calendars), and keep on top of hot topics (news, sports, etc). You’d be amazed at all they can do on that simple flip phone.
